Every remanufactured alternator, distributor and starter assembly from Motorcraft® is completely disassembled, cleaned and inspected. Parts that do not meet Original Equipment (O.E.) specifications are recycled and replaced with Motorcraft® replacement parts. Our factory-trained technicians incorporate the latest engineering improvements and parts content into our assemblies whenever possible - helping to ensure that they meet or beat O.E. specifications.

Remanufactured Alternators

• Incorporate silicone-potting compound on regulators to ensure the protection of these parts
• Use brush holders designed to ensure that the brushes do not bind
  during use
• Use thermal-sprayed alumina coating on rectifiers to ensure maximum heat transfer
• Utilize a 200 armored polythermalese wire, rather than a thick black coating, on the stator wire
• Coat the stator with a varnish to ensure maximum protection
• Attach stator wires to terminals where they make contact with the rectifier, instead of soldering them to the rectifier bridge
• Maintain the fan design to O.E. specifications to ensure maximum airflow

• Replace brushes and bearings with O.E. graphic parts
• Use solenoids and armatures that are 100% tested for integrity and performance
• Utilize only parts that meet Ford Engineering specifications
