 Oils and Lubricants
Like all Motorcraft® products, Motorcraft®
motor oils and lubricants are designed, engineered
and recommended by Ford Motor Company. Motorcraft®
oils are made with the finest base oils and refined
using a revolutionary process known as “hydrocracking”.
This process dissolves unstable oil molecules before
they can decompose in a car's engine. The result is
a base oil that's so pure, it's crystal clear. These
oils dramatically outperform and outprotect standard
solvent-refined oils.

performance comparable to our Motorcraft® full synthetic
at both very high and very low operating temperatures

Motorcraft® 5W-20 motor oil dramatically outperforms

the stringent WSS-M2C153-H Ford Motor Company specification
to give the balance of engine durability and performance

 Motorcraft® Quality
Motorcraft® 5W-20 is a premium motor oil blended using
synthetic and mineral oil base stocks manufactured
via a process called “hydrocracking”. This process
rearranges the molecules, freeing them of impurities
and making them more durable and resistant to breakdown.
Motorcraft® 5W-20 dramatically outperforms and outprotects
conventional motor oils. Specially tailored additives
are included to:
- Reduce friction
- Minimize engine deposits and wear
- Protect against high temperature oxidation and low temperature thickening, rust, corrosion and foaming

SAE 5W-30 and SAE 10W-30 Super Premium Motor Oil
Meet the requirements for the American Petroleum Institute
(API) "Engine Oil Licensing and Certification
System." Both 5W-30 and 10W-30 carry the API
"Certification Trademark" identifying them
as meeting the latest performance standard for gasoline
engine oils established by the vehicle manufacturers
- Fuel-efficient formulas include special friction modifiers that save gas
- Premium additive packages fight sludge, varnish, rust, corrosion and wear
- Formulated for easy cold-weather starting—at temperatures down to -10 degrees Fahrenheit (-23 degrees Celsius) with 5W-30 and 0 degrees Fahrenheit (-18 degrees Celsius) with 10W-30
- Both oils meet vehicle manufacturers' performance requirements for gasoline engines
- 5W-30 is recommended to service any gasoline-powered passenger car or light duty truck engine prior to 2001 model year

New Motorcraft® Full Synthetic SAE 5W-30 Motor Oil

by Ford Motor Company and many other equipment manufacturers
